In the late 80s, Peter Jacoves recognized a need in Dallas, TX for a fun and interactive dining experience. After researching various restaurant concepts throughout the U.S., Mr. Jacoves recognized the opportunity that a fondue restaurant would afford him. Having done his homework and his financing secured, Peter still needed a name. Playing off the simplistic theme of fondue, it was decided the new name could be none other than Simply Fondue.

Fondue, considered a thing of the past, came to Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 1989 with a huge splash. Patrons, looking for a dinner concept that was unique, exciting, and fun began embarking on Simply Fondue in masses. Business was booming and Simply Fondue was the toast of Dallas as growth was fast and furious. In June of 1995 Tim West and Lance Wilson agreed to purchase the original Simply Fondue on Lower Greenville along with ten years in the fondue specific sector.

It was Tim and Lance's goal to bring Simply Fondue up to an even higher level of standards in quality, value, and customer service that would set Simply Fondue apart from all other restaurants. Together, they set out to establish a restaurant whose menu and atmosphere would appeal to all age groups. QUALITY and SERVICE would be the two cornerstones that would never be compromised.

Today, through its company owned and franchised restaurants; it is Tim and Lance's goal to turn Simply Fondue into a respected and known brand across the U.S. Simply Fondue and its team members are forever committed to bringing the highest standard of excellence in the upscale interactive dining segment.
